SUSPENDED WINDOW
ISuspended window is a site-specific installation created in the
Center for Advanced Visual at MIT. It attempts a conceptual delamination
and rehashing of juxtaposed ral and virtual spaces. A rear-projected virtual
window is placed directly facing its physical
counterpart. The real window is covered with mirrors but its view is
projected onto the virtual window. Spectator movement between the two
windows causes distrubances and distortions in the virtual window,
revealing other layers in the process.
Suspended Window was created by Bill Keays and Jay Lee at the MIT Media
Lab.
